About Us

We are a Spirit Led Church that believes that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. This is the basis for our beliefs and bylaws. Our Church is autonomous and maintains the right to govern it's own affairs, independent of any denominational control. Recognizing, however, the benefits of cooperation with other churches in world missions, our Church voluntarily affiliates with the Southern Baptist Convention in it's national, state, and local expressions.

The Church Possesses The Following Core Values:

Evangelism/Missions - To share the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our community and throughout the world.

Discipleship- Assisting Christians in developing spiritual understanding and maturity (Proverbs 27:17)

Worship - To participate in public worship services together and to maintain personal daily devotions
(John 4:24)

Ministry/Service - To serve unselfishly in Jesus' name, meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in the Church, and our community, and the world.
(I Peter 4:10-11, Matthew 25:34-40, I Thessalonians 5:11, Galatians 5:1-3)

Fellowship - To encourage, support, and pray for each other, as members of the family of God. To share our lives together.
(I John 1:7, Acts 2:44-47, Hebrews 10:23-25, Romans 15:5,7 John 13:34-35)

Leadership- We view godly character, prayer and commitment as keys to Christian leadership (Isaiah 40:31)
