Church Ministries

Ministries of The Way Church

Sunday School (Discipleship Training)
We offer discipleship training through our Sunday School department every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.  We have classes for all ages and use the Bible as our emphasis for this study.  The curriculum is designed to cover the entire Bible on a week-by-week basis and is an ongoing study.

Worship Service
We celebrate together as a body of believers every Sunday at 10:45 a.m.  This is a time involving praise, prayer, children, study of the Bible, and communion on the first Sunday of the month.  We emphasize a praise team during our time of song blending some of the classic hymns that have been loved for years.

Women's Ministry
Our women's ministries meet at various times throughout the week for prayer and Bible study.  They do a Bible-based curriculum designed specifically for women to encourage them and help them in their walk with Christ.

Puppet Ministry
We have a team of people who use puppets to communicate the truth of God's Word to children.  In addition to the Wednesday children's ministry, they are used in the community at various times throughout the year.

Music/Worship Team
This group of men and women use the gifts and talents God has blessed them with to lead in worship.  They emphasize holiness toward God and lead the church in lifting up praise to the Lord.

Children's Ministries
The children's ministries emphasize the truth of Jesus on Sunday and Wednesday studies.  Various activities for appropriate ages are also planned throughout the year for our children.

Crossroads Youth (Student) Ministries
This is for our 7th through 12th grade.  They meet on Thursday evenings for a time of praise, games and Bible study that focuses on living a Christian life in a non-Christian world.

Benevolence Ministries
This ministry is designed to meet the needs of our church and community.  It is overseen by the deacon body and emphasizes meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of people.

Men's Ministry
This ministry gathers once per month for a men's breakfast and also plans various events for men throughout the year.  This is designed to bring the men of the church closer to God and to each other.
